My imaginary friend here thinks you have mental problems :) [18 Sep 2006|04:19pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | pyramid - wolfmother ] i usually spend my sundays sitting at home doing homework or dancing around to crazy greek music but suprisingly yesterday i found myself with 2 of my greek school friends, sitting in a large building ,with "free the pathenon marbles" written on it,half asleep. As a VCE student for VSL's modern greek i was made to go to a talk about our exams for NEXT YEAR with my greek school class. Effie, effie and i caught the train to lonsdale st so listen to 3 people talk to a group of unintrested greek students for 2 hours yesterday ... so im going to tell you about it O_O :D i didnt know melbourne central was on lonsdale street, so when we got off the train and asked the person working in the cafe for directions to lonsdale street he stared at us as if we were something unusual. We, of course, were only familiar with the greek part of lonsdale street, the part that has greek music blaring from its stores, the best giros in melb and just as good cakes next door, and the big white building that has "free the pathenon marbles" on it. After the talk was over we went to stale ...stal ....damn forgot what its called to get giros, and by the time we were half way through our lamb and chicken giros we were STUFFED. Our teacher dragged us to the cake shop next door and made fed us cakes until we thought we would spew and then we circled melbourne central 'till we decided to catch the train back home. We waited at caufield station for one of the effie's bf to meet her, which took an hour because there were people protesting on the tracks. HONESTLY, who protests on train tracks?? by the time i got home it was 5, and i was so tired and full that i went to sleep. i think im going to spend these holidays either preparing for my 16th, formal shopping or watching the entire season of bones ....again O_O 'till next time...TOODLES! 2 potatoes|jack is a potato

[26 Jun 2006|05:25pm] [ mood | cheerful ] [ music | thes na kanoume sxesi ] *waves* sometimes i totally forget i have a lj and today i was sitting here in my warm little seat thinking i havent spoken to char in ages and then POP! i remembered my lj which is quite amusing actually :p so whats new? well absolutely nothing :| im still walking around weirdly because of my foot and it is still bandaged ... because of this i cant go anywhere much and i stay home and watch soccer repeats that my mum tapes, even though i watch most of the matches live, lol. all i can really say is ... well ... GO THE SOCCEROOS! because even though they are ranked 44th in the world, and have only been in the world cup twice (not with the same players lol) they're still in and they kick butt :D its quite funny watching my mum curse and scream at the tv when the socceroos are winning, im the only one supporting them in my household, and when they win i get to rub it in. Mum goes that its all a fluke and they'll get out of the world cup next match and they wont win another match for the rest of thier lives and i reply that the greeks were worse ranked in the euro and they won it :D ... and then lost to australia lmao. ok enough world cup talk, and since thats all i seem to be doing lately (i blame the foot *shakes fist* ) i will leave my lj alone and hope that they beat italy on tuesday morning :DDDDDD TATA! OH, and as for the weird title its a greek song meaning you wanna start a relationship? and i dont, well not with him anyway :p jack is a potato

oh nooooes! [26 May 2006|03:08pm] [ mood | amused ] wednesday is officially bad luck day. i dont know where to begin ... my mum took x rays of her arm and few days ago she picked them up from the doctors. Yesterday morning my cousin called and told her that she must go see the doctors who took her xrays because its urgent, she came home announcing that she is going to need a HUGE ASS NEEDLE injected into her arm/ armpit area because somethings MEGA WRONG. by the time she told us this i was home with a REAL SCREWED UP FOOT. we were in p.e and our american student teacher was teaching us how to play "american football". so he showed us techniques and it was all good until it was tackling time. WE WERNT MEANT TO TACKLE, we were meant to HUG, but what does my friend do? she wanted to DEMONSTRATE. ... she didnt hug tackle ... she TACKLED like most rugby players do. So before i knew it i was on the ground, her arms wrapped around me and groaning in pain because my left foot caned when i tried moving it. Chas tried getting me up but i yelled at him (being the idiot that i am) and then yelled some more when my actual teacher tried to hep me. Then i went crazy, people got scared because they didnt know whether i was laughing or crying ...to tell you the truth i dont know either! so the took me to sick bay, me muttering every swear word from every language i knew, and tried getting in contact with my parents to take me home. Several teachers walked in to talk to me and by then i was crying of laughter and they were like O_o? getting me up and going was funny, the crutches were waaay to big so i kept falling back onto the bed .. we settled for a WHEELCHAIR that had a FLAT TYRE to get me to the car. my p.e teacher pushed me to the car and whe i got in it, he hopped onto the wheelchair and got a kids help taking him back inside... it was funny to watch lol. all i know is that i havent sprained an ankle and i havent broken anything, otherwise id be in more pain. my cousin is coming tonight to help me out and hopefully i'll have proper fitting crutches by then :D my teacher says we dont need 2 legs, but me hopping everywhere proves that we do. p.s - my friend spewed when we were going to film our version of romeo and juliet (boganized) :O so that adds to the list of badass wednesday :| 1 potato|jack is a potato

WE ARE ONE...BUT WE ARE MAAAAAAAAAANNYYYYYYYYYYY! [19 May 2006|09:45pm] [ mood | creative ] [ music | here with me - dido ] AHEM. im trying my best to at least update once a week ... so here is my week's events since ... last friday! :D on friday i went to southland with my cousin and 2 of her friends to celebrate her birthday we went to something "fridays" which was good, because there was food and we ate... LOL. so we ate , wandered around and acted like idiots because, when you hang out with me you turn into one :D saturday was the family gathering of my cousins birthday, so you can imagine ... TONS of people cramped in a house ....very cosy :p i got my sac results for my first greek writing sac ... 19/20 :w00t: really hard to believe but anyhoo ... mum cant complain about me bludging at school until the next sac results come out O_O :D this week... hmm ... sunday was mothers day as we all know...hopefully O_o ...i got my mum stuff from the body shop because thier stuff smells soo nice :D we had a bbq and again... i ate :D on wednesday and thursday me and 16 students from my school went to oakleigh for PEER MEDIATION :D we played lots of games and trained to be mediators ... twas good fun i suppose :D ... lunch times were the best though, we went nuts around oakleigh in a span of ... 50 minutes :p we were singing we are family and we are australian at the top of our lungs and skipped down the sidewalks ... 8 or 9 of us LOL. im braindead atm, so im going but i'll update soon ;) 1 potato|jack is a potato

nananananananana BATMAAAAAN! O_o [08 May 2006|03:11am] [ mood | cranky ] [ music | love song for noone - john mayer ] hello little passionfruit seeds! i was meant to post my zoo experience on thursady but as you can see ... i didnt. my stupid teacher says its better to go in June, since we're not organised ... um what? ok lets see ... you give us the freakin notice 3 or 4 days before we are meant to go, expect us to pay something like 25 bucks and then tell US we're not ORGANISED?! well...poo to you teacher, now we have to go in june, and thats a month away. yes teacher, take a month to get us organised *ahem* ok, now that thats out of the way i'll tell you about my wonderful experience with the "leaders" Wed. afterschool the peer support leaders, SRC leaders and school captains of all kind gathered for a talk about leadership that started a 4 and finished a 6. it was the most BORINGEST THING EVER. half of us were drifting off when our guest speaker, mr principal "i climbed a mountain and went to hawaii ..leadership is great" ... dont even know his name was talking. To top it off they showed us a 2 minute video about geese O_O ...thanks teachers, tommorow we will come to school going "HONK HONK!" to show our appreciation. the best part of the whole thing was the red cordial. really. on tuesday im going to crosscountry to run 3 km and collape ... and if i dont then, i will at greek dancing. cypriot dances are so much harder than the mainland greek ones. i'll try to update soon :) rina xo jack is a potato
